To those who have mastered going into Theta state, what is your focus of your thought when you are relaxing yourself and trying to go into Theta state?

Some people say when they are in/or near theta, they start seeing things (visions), hearing things..even voices, etc. Each experience will differ from person to person though - some may not experience too much of anything. Whenever it happens to me, I'm not sleep, but not quite awake either....sort of like being on the edge of sleep.

i usually slip into theta briefly when trying to sleep. i usually have visions or hear voices. the disturbing thing about the visions is that they could be precognitive. i've had a distinct one come true a few weeks after the fact.
I've found that "trying" to get into theta will only make it more difficult. You must trust in yourself and learn to let go of your expectations. Allow the experience to happen and just observe until you are centered enough to take some control.

I've learned to do something similar and can see varying degrees into the future. Sometimes a few moments, sometimes days. Right before and during sleep longer.

Yes, during sleep my visions are harder to remember, but they are much farther into the future. By the time the event foreseen occurs I had all but forgotten about the vision.

Yeah, there's always that trade off of quality vs distance. But just like eye sight the more improvement the less trade there is. Especially when we pass visions for general forknowledge.

cool. I do see things and hear voices, but more ideas than anything, telling me to do this or that.. At the time it makes no sense, but most things fit extremely well..

Thats not an uncommon start for precognitive abilities. Just keep driving into your potential and you'll do great.
