Hello everyone,
I'm from India, where Sanskrit mantras are abundantly used in all aspects of life. These simple, yet powerful mantras are effective if used properly. 'Om' , the sound of the universe is the basic element of all these mantras we chant. Chanting 'om' only is powerful for overall progress too.. Here is another mantra that attracts wealth:
"Om sree Mahalakshmyai namah".. Chant it several times a day. Mahalakshmi is our Goddess of wealth and she is the wife of Vishnu. She brings us Aiswarya( overall progress, happiness and peace.
There is another mantra which clears all obstacles from our path. Lord Ganesh is the God who does it. You can chant it several times before building a home, going for an interview, beginning something etc. The mantra is: " Om sree maháganapathaye namah". I don't know whether it's difficult for you people to chant. It reduces depression too.
Have you read T.S. Eliot's 'The Waste Land'?. Remember how it ends? It ends like 'Om Shanthi shanthi shanthi'. Chant it often. It attracts abundant peace. Shanti means peace.
'Om Namah Shivay' is another mantra. Shiva is the God of destruction. He destroys our rivals. Chant it. Very powerful and simple.
To have a very visible effect, do good things. *Respect elders *Donate money *Help the sick and the poor *Serve food to every living creature, never mind whether it's a dog or a crow.*Never hurt any living creature. Never kill snakes. * Provide water sothat birds will be happy. *Clean your mind first *Don't pray for your selfish needs.Pray for others. *Grow seeds. Speak to the leaves. Return to nature. *Never hurt your pets.
