I'm fairly new to all this, in that my experiences have been solo. I'm not sure what people mean by things like "sender" or "receiver". I can only describe it as being able to slip into someone's thought fields, and lift a copy of their thoughts. This is difficult at times, and I have to work at slipping in, though others are easier to slip in to.
I've also noticed some phantom feelings when I open my mind to the world around me. It feels like... tendrils. Like strings of thoughts unspooling from my mind. I've noticed that the more I practice, the farther out my tendrils can reach.
The world seems to have added dimensions when I open my mind. It's like looking at a 2-dimensional image, and it suddenly begins shifting into a 3-dimensional object.
I guess my question is, have others had these kind of experiences?

A little of all three. It depends on the general environment. If I'm working with a single individual, I get all three. If I'm in a crowd, it feels like the ambient noise gains an added dimension, both in volume and intensity.

Have you tried finding a partner to do some tests / experiments while they hold a card , you read their mind and determine the card ?

I've practiced blocking and slipping past blocks with a partner.
