|

|
I have a very tough examination which is coming up for which i am studying. Is there a way to increase studying efficiency, memory or probability of passing the exam using metaphysical power?
Eg: I was thinking abt creating a thoughtform that helps me absorb the subject better.
Any other techniques or help would be very helpful.Thank you.

there are many things you can do. learn to enter the Alpha (aka accelerated learning) state. learn photoreading (it takes consistent practise and you can easily learn to absorb the contents of any average sized book in about an hour.) you could take that one step farther and teach yourself "photolistening". as an example, a one hour recording could be listened to thusly
first pass listen to it at 4 times the normal speed (you might be able to pick up the odd word)
listen again at three times normal speed (you'll pick up quite a bit)
third pass at 2 speed (nearly the whole thing will be understandable)
fourth pass at normal speed (by this time you'll be surprised at how often you say things like "i know this-the next interesting bit is ..." you'll probab ly end up fast forwarding most of it)
at this point, you've listened to the whole recording four times in less than two hours. this is the basic philosophy behind most things like this "trust yourself-let your subconscious do most of the work-stop trying to control everything to be exactly aas you want it".
have you ever seen Fight Club with Edward Norton and Brad Pitt? whether you have or not, watch it again from a Metaphysical and Spiritual perspective. you might be surprised
have fun

Thank you very much Sabrinmg.
I have tried photoreading before for like a month. I cudnt quite get it. Only the speed reading step helped a lil. Does it really work?
Ur photolistening idea is novel. Its very interesting I'll definitely give it a go as i have a few audio lectures to cover.
I'll check out the Fight club- thank you!!

you're very welcome
in essence, photoreading is the same as the photolistening.
the steps for photoreading a book might be
1) establish your purpose. why do you want to read the book? on first pass, my purpose is usually something along the lines of "i want to just get the general gist of what's going on"
2) then i'd quickly skim through the entire book in 10 minutes or so
3) i'd then do the actual photoreading. i usually read books on the monitor so i set acrobat reader to auto advance each page every 1 second. additionally i set the page display to double so i'm viewing 1 page a second. during this, i don't even attempt to read. i trust that my mind is taking in the info to create a sort of outline
4) then i "postview"-skim through the book like i did earlier but take about twice as long.
at this point, i generally have a very rough outline of the book. i often stop at this point, if having a rough idea is all i want. if i want more i do this
1) is there anything in particular that i want? for every "yes" i go to the relevant section.
2) if i want more but not quite sure what, i'll skim again until i come to a section i know is interesting to me, then i'll slow down.
simple as that. the photoreading course nmakes it sound harder than it is.
if you examine the entire process, you'll clearly see the Law of Attraction being used. the big one is "know what you want" after that, it's a matter of practise and adjustments to get the results you desire.
remember, what do YOU want, not what you think the author wants you to get.
have fun
