There are many topics on how to enter the alpha state.
Lie down comfortably whichever position you feel comfortable.
Close your eyes and empty your mind.
Just relax and take deep breaths until you feel much deeper within yourself
Be in this state for about five minutes and then you are in alpha state.
It all depends on how fast you naturally relax.Some people can close their eyes and reach alpha state instantly.It takes practice.

fast way. Count down 10 to 1 picturing the number in head. with each breath. say I am in Alpha, I am focus, and relaxed three times. Now count down from 7 to 1 picturing the numbers colored. red 7, orange 6, yellow 5, green 4, blue 3, purple 2, lavender 1, repeat the alpha quote. When your done. count up to ten from one.
