Oracle Cards are a lot easier to use and understand than Tarot Cards. Most Oracle Cards have a illustrated design on the actual card which symbolises the cards meaning as well as a one or two line sentence printed on the card confirming the message of the card.

Oracle cards also employ a more simple spread technique than Tarot Cards. You can do a simple one card spread where you ask the cards a question. First ask the cards a question and shuffle the deck then, take the top card. This card will provide you with the answer to your question.

Another simple spread is the three card spread. Simply ask the cards a question and shuffle the deck as above. Select the top three cards and place them in a row. The card on the left will represent what has caused your problem. The middle card will represent the course of action to resolve your question and the card on the right will represent the likely outcome of your question.

Oracle cards are one thing that I have not heard so much about at all. All I know of is the Tarot, I-ching, Runes, Angel cards and other methods of divination but I will try to learn more about this.
Thanks for the info.

Doreen Virtue has a very popular range of Oracle Cards. I like them, they are very easy to use.

I have used the Celtic Animal Oracle Deck numerous times and found it to be just as accurate and enjoyable as all my Tarot decks. I use the Oracle cards for matters that do not require the level of detail as what Tarot decks can do with a proper reading and spread of 8-10 cards.

I think the Celtic Animal Oracle deck can be especially useful for those who are attuned to spirit guides, totems, or more in harmony with nature.

I've just got The Druid Animal Oracle Deck by Philip & Stephanie Carr-Gomm and I really love them. They seem very easy to used but as they are new, they need a little bit of getting used to.

Yes! The Druid Animal Deck! That was the name of it! I absolutely love the artwork of each card and love how insightful the cards can be. I went and got the boxed set which included a hardcover book, reading cloth, and the deck. I often do Oracle readings around the holidays most associated with the Wiccan culture. I find those readings to be particularly insightful and enjoyable-- all those great vibes!
