Hi,
Not sure this is where this question should be directed however, I would like to know, if a white dove appeared infront of me, will something good or bad happen? Is it my guide or perhaps my nephew who passed away shortly before it appeared in my yard? I have to tell you, i live in the North East USA and know for a fact that white doves are not previlant here and it was the middle of October to boot.
This was actually the second sighting of a bird. The day of my nephew's viewing, on the way home from the funeral parlor, a bald eagle nearly made it's way through my windshield. My husband was driving and it swooped down as if t look me right in the eye. We never hit it, but several other people behind us saw it happen.
Also, I have seen only once my husband's sister who passed away, but only for a split second or upon waking only, i hear what seems to be my nephew's voice. Am I going crazy???

Hi Giovanna, I think people are busy and that's why they don't reply sometimes.

Anyway, my Indian friends (as in Native American people) believe in animal messengers and they say that seeing a particular animal doesn't necessarily mean the same thing for every person. However, you can do an internet search on "animal messengers" and find lists of animals and their meanings if you'd like.

A couple of examples of differences:
-Some native people believe that seeing or hearing an owl is a bad omen. Some do not believe that.
-Some native people do not eat buffalo meat because they are from a buffalo clan. Others, like Lakotas, do eat buffalo.

I once asked a guy who pours sweats about animal messengers and he is so funny. He likes to give these sideways answers. So here is the story he told me: One day some lady reporter was visiting a reservation in the south. As they were driving along, the lady started telling these Indians that she'd heard animal sightings were messages and wanted to know more about that, what it meant when certain animals appear. All of the sudden a great blue heron flew across the road in front of them and the lady said, "What does that mean, to see that bird right now?"

Well, the Indians laughed and said, "It means there's water nearby."

Now, seriously, if you are wanting to know what the dove and eagle sighting mean for you personally, you might try meditating with that question put to your higher self. I've received lots of answers that way, but not always right away. Sometimes the answer shows up later, or haha, maybe I'm just not in-tune to receive the answer until later.
