Fiery Dragons

Thunderbolts from heaven striking the eerie landscape
Glimpsing immense waves of hardened masses
Stretched beyond the wild distant horizon

Oh what desolation and yet indescribable beauty
Skewed and twisted harshness, time immemorial

Wrenched from the earthly depths
Unimagined terror raining from the skies
Run dwellers of the earth run

Hostile wild uninhabitable wasteland
Remember those vicious fiery dragons
What lifeless forms lie beneath
Entombed forever by uncorrupted virulence

Be still, tranquility passivity
A time endured a time forgotten long, long ago
Reminiscence, remembrance, reposing

Great poem, lenred! It leaves just the right amount of detail out so the imagination can fill in the blanks, and, I must say, those Fiery Dragons were certainly a force to be reckoned with in their day.
