Thanks for that article Katherinanyc28, it was very interesting.
I've always liked the Fall Equinox because the energy change is so strong plus I just like the fall and winter period better anyway.  Its a Power Day so use it wisely everyone. Happy Equinox to all.

yea i love samhain personally maby i can see tiny this year oh yea cool icon my fave seasons are fall and winter--winter cold i get colds have to stay chilled or caughs will drive me insane and fall cause samhain and herb gatheerin--naturally dried out stems roots go to soil help fertalise it

I actually don't know put I would imagine this would be a pretty strong person able to pull things forward or push backward.

Hi, do you mean on the DAY of the Summer Solstice or the days around it? People born with their Suns super close to the 0 degrees of any of the Solstices and/or Equinoxs are all 'Cardinal' Signs. This means simply that they are good at initating things, getting things going, motivating and directing energy to move!
To answer your question, in some ways yes. These 4 points ( + ) in the Zodiac circle are considered 'Power Days' where major new energy comes in to our reality and changes things for the next 3 months, until the next 'Power Day' aka Solstic/Equinox.
First day of Spring - Equinox
First day of Summer - Solstice
First day of Fall - Equinox
First day of Winter - Solstice
Yes, extra energy with your Sun (or any planet) very close to any of these points or angles.

Hi Lapis! Yes, that's what I was getting at I was born June 21st, Summer Solstice and I just realized that there were many pagan rituals on June 21 ( Stonehenge...Fertility rituals..etc. ), I was just wondering why that day was so much celebrated

Hi all!
Wasn't Prince William born on June 21st? I'm pretty sure he was induced to be born on that day too. Would explain alot, knowing our royal family....

Yep the one's in power and those behind the scenes do things like that all the time. Here in the USA the president and co. started the 2nd war in Iraq ON the Spring Equinox! They all know what they're doing and how to use the energies for their personal gain. Funny, in some circles these actions would be considered a good bit on the Dark Side!
