hello, i have come here to see if anyone can shed light on my current condition.
i am currently a very weak telekinetic, electrokinetic, and somewhat progressed empath.
but what i have, both me and my friend are very weak psychic abilities that label us "psychic vampires".
a psychic vampire is a person, who is sad, and weak physically, but can steal the life force away from others by being around them. now my friend and i are not sad, nor weak, but we seem to have the ability, at will to funnel energy from surrounding living creatures to fuel our own pools of energy.
now
1) i wish to become more psychicly adept, further this ability, and also learn how to shield all but a few select others from my so called vampirism. (presumably with a psi shield)
2) i am afraid that my friend, who is skeptical about psychics, will pay no heed to my warnings, and later in life, reach a point of depression so that he becomes a full fledged, involuntary psychic vampire, sapping the life force out of all who are dear to him.
so i am asking if anyone has any knowledge on this skill (from the perspective of the vampire, rather than from one desiring to protect themselves from a vampire) to help me and my friend to help develop our ability and keep it under control while still being able to consciously use it.

ummm... psychic vampires arn't universally sad people. though it is true that they need energies from different living things, they just need it to remain strong or normal, as without the energies they will become extreamly weak and sickly... they can also survive off of different ambiant energies.
A psychic vampire is normally someone with either a damaged chakra or a natural energy defficiancy.
There's more about them, but it'll be a long read which i do not particularly feel like typing out.
From what i read, though, you seem to be a psychic vampire. You can either teach them to shield their energies, or you can train or teach yourself to pick and choose who you drain from or don't.
And having psychic abilities don't label you as a psychic vampire, it's the life/psychic energy syphoning that labels you as one.
As for your friend.. best thing is to convince and prove to him that he is what he is.
