on the subject of the Mahabharata, i recently watched a documentary about the possibility of ancient human interactions with ETs. In one part the featured scholars (of which i cannot recall any names atm) speculated that the Mahabharata described an evil race of aliens that came to Earth to manipulate and corrupt humanity. Eventually, a benevolent alien race came to drive out the invaders and the battle described was between these two races.
I'm not certain which race bestowed the advanced technology upon the Indians, though.

I read a bit about the Indian Vimanas. Did you ever hear about the guy who claimed to be a Tibetan Monk, who switched bodies with a guy in Britain. Lobsang Rama, and he claimed to have seen hidden Atlantean technology in the Himalayas.
I am always looking for something enlightening to read.
