I've come here because I am starting my spiritual journey. There are some tasks I must complete in this world that I need help achieving. I figured maybe some of you may know a way to help me. I don't have any money... I'm pretty much homeless. I've lost everything and I need to fix it. So that's why I'm on this journey.
I need to be able to completely control my own emotions and outlook on life, for as of now it's pretty negative. I've been beat down a lot and I need to get out of this negative, limiting rut. I am working on this as much as I can now but any help is nice.
Mainly, I need to astral travel. I have tried on my own but had no success as of yet. I've heard of audio files that will kick the consciousness out of the body, but I haven't found any. As I said, I don't have any money, so I can't order any of these cds that claim you can "astral travel in ten minutes".. If anyone knows of any type of file like this I would be eternally grateful. If not, tell me how you achieved astral travel yourself. I've gotten close, maybe your hints will help.
Because astral travel is my main key to success, everything else will spring from there. But I may as well tell you some of my other goals. You already know my self control goal. I also need to learn how to see the aura of people and spirits, and how to interact with these spirits. They will be my teachers in saving myself.
So that's my story! If anyone can help me, I thank you very much.

I wouldn't reccomend a sound file that claims it can make you astral travel, I've never had much success with them. If you really want to experiment with these type mp3s, go to www.gnomad.info and try them they're free and I think as good as anything you'll find apart from maybe hemi sync etc.
Instead try practicing relaxation techniques then try imagining yourself floating up and out of your body, or rolling out of your body. another good technique is to use an affirmation, such as 'now I'm out of body', all these things work well for me. also a good tip is to try and be still when you wake in the night and try such techniques. astral travel takes a bit of dedication as well, it won't happen overnight generally.
also I would recommend you could visualize positive outcomes, such as getting the job you want etc, as having happened, thoughts become things as they say and many believe that you can manifest good luck in your life, look in the Manifestation section of this forum for more tips on this.

Ok. The sound helps me focus cause I have a very loud mind. I can't usually quiet my thoughts.

I onced tried a brainwave entertainment CD using isotonic tones and soon found myself having lucid-dreaming experience (was listening to it before sleep).

The headphones were surely not comfortable enough for my ear though... Sad

Time to get a SleepSonic Pillow I guess.
