any advice for developing psychic powers?

When doing my psychic exercises using energy to aid me I normally do about 10-15 minutes of Tai Chi (or Reiki or anything to build up your energy flow) then using a MYLAR Balloon filled with Helium I start out by bringing it to me then when it comes to me and stops sending it back across the room.

This works much better than trying to move things like paperclips, coffee grinds, playing cards, or table salt that have a weight to them and can be too time consuming for people just starting out.

I connect to the energy while it is very strong and make a Tiiinnnnggggg sound with my mind while doing this.

Try this several times bring to then sending back away.
Make sure there is no wind or air circulating from a fan/vent into the room where you are practicing as to not get any false readings.


To start out

1.) Learn to build to the connect to the energy flow
2.) Use the same technique each time
3.) Don't practice for long periods of time

You can buy them at the dollar store already filled (make sure they are nice and firm filled with Helium) usually for a dollar.

I tried the experiement one day after doing 15 minutes of Tai chi and impressed the whole family. (Actually they walked in on me doing it) They thought it was a trick but then they tried it to and it worked for them as well.

So I have been doing it ever since.

I have spent years trying to move salt and coffee grinds with null results so with this at least my ego feels a little better afterward.

I'm not psychic myself, but i believe i have a good idea of what practices would be best to start with.
Learn to astral project, im told this increases numerous psychic abilities, i, although i havent gotten out all the way yet, have started noticing effects from my AP practice.
Then i would train to see auras, for developing your third eye.
Then try out psiballs and work your way on down.
A friend of mine has been noticing alot of psychic abilities with her lately. She has been able to see auras for a year and can astral project, i believe theyre linked(and im told by most sites owned by psychics that they are also) to her developing her other spontaneous psychic stuff. Such as reaching out for her spoon during breafast and having it slide away from her, lol.
Oh yeah, and of course meditation! lol
I can't wait for summer time, plenty of time to practice!

Yes, Amadaeus. Astral projecting is a good idea. My husband and I just learned of this religion called Eckankar. I don't know if you've heard of it, but it deals with dreams, astral projection and opening your heart. I've never heard of it before, but its cool stuff. Its everything I'd like in a religion. They talk about past lives, karma and how nature can teach you things. They talk of the other planes of existence and how earth is a school. I've been recording my dreams and interpreting them for myself. Its a good way to start. My husband has purchased all kinds of Cds and books on astral projection. I just have to have the time to practice. For now I'm just trying to be more positive and love everyone unconditionally. We went to an eckankar seminar and its something I really want to do. They talked about how this guy made friends with a squirl by feeding him nuts. Eventaully the squirl trusted him enough that he would sit on his lap. We sung the sound of HU, which is supposed to be an ancient name for God. Then we went in a circle and talked about conflicts of this world, OBE's, and how thoughts are very powerful. I think all of you would be interested in it. Their web site is www.eckankar.org. Just something mystical I think you all might like.
