I have been doing visualization for more than a week. Everything was fine at the beginning, where I could hold the image and feel the touch. Recently, however, I had a problem:
When I was visualizing sitting with someone face to face, I was not able to see his/her face because it was covered by a shadow that I didn't know where was it from. I tried to move my head (in my visualization), but the shadow remained there. Even with someone I met everyday, his/her face was still covered by the shadow, though I was able to saw his/her posture, hear his/her voice clearly.
Could anyone give me some help?

It could be several things . The first is you may not be predisposed to visualizations. People process things by sight , sound , and sensation . Some people are good at working with sensations or sound . Like Steven Speilberg likes to tell a story . Think of Jaws , Close Encounters , and ET , and you take away sounds being part of the atomsphere . As a comparison George Lucas processes things visually .
The next thing to try is visualize a different person , preferably someone who shouldnt have a shadow on them .
Also you could try sensing shadows ( and light ) on people , places , and things .

I have a question about shadows too.
When i sit and relax, watch myself in mirror and focus on what i recieve, i feel like another dimension of sight, but my face becomes darker and light i get from sorroundings changes. I don't understand what would that be, maybe someone has experience with that? I know it could be just physical, but i really try to improve my sight.
