I researched into this and I realize that I have tendencies in draining from people, but as in I always have this desperate feeling (but its because I have bipolar depression), and I realize I take a lot of people's time and attention (and maybe energy) to make myself feel better. However, I was never aware of "absorbing energy" or the kind.

Till now I still don't know such techniques, so I don't think I'd be a vampire at all. What do you think?

Also, I read about a someone's grand mother being a psychic vampire, and she lived up to 120 years old or something. She was able to absorb energy from the environment, like she can sniff all the candles on the table just by leaning forward. If you can take energy from the natural elements but not people, then it is not immoral right? If so are there benefits to such techniques? If yes how do you acquire such?

Does such technique help extend beauty? (reminds me of Countess Bathory, sometimes I cant help but wonder whether her technique actually worked?)

Energy is energy. In some situations, one type may be more beneficial than the other because of its characteristics, but any energy type can be used to fuel any process, biological or not, because of how you program it to work. Sometimes, lots of specifics are necessary for a certain outcome. In other situations, it's better to be more vague. Lots of factors go into determining just how specific you need to be, as well as how skillful the energy worker is. Any outcome is possible, including extending life spans.

Stealing other peoples energy probably isn't a good idea... Are you looking to stay this way or do you want to change?

All you have to do is change your mindset. Write affimations or meditate.

Practice building your own energy. Chi breathing every day for at least 10 minutes - hold the breath and chi within your navel chakra. You should feel a lot more self-sufficient energetically after just one session, but keep it up. Also a form of meditation like Vipassana or some other deep awareness practice may help you a lot for healing the root causes of this issue. All the best.

emeraldgood you can take enenrgy form your enviroment, you could take it from the sky. I look up at the sky and I see the enenrgy all the time swirling aorund up there. I take energy from anything when i feel i need it at the time. A lot of my enenrgy goes into healing others so I feel its justified. I rearly take it from people unless I ask i usually take it from the enviroment.

To be more specific, energy is not just energy. There are different types of energy. I.E. Elemental, Ethereal, Living, etc. And certain types are more suitable to specific activities and undertakings than others. The ancient Sanskrit identified this best perhaps with the terms Prana(life energy) and Mana(elemental energy of the "inanimate" world).

Now, it is true that either and/or both energies can be channeled or absorbed into the spirit and physical body only Prana is actually suitable for the purposes of vampirism. There are individuals that for one reason or another (often a spiritual or physical deficiency) naturally draw life energy from people around them. Whether they are concious of this exchange or not is often irrelevant, as the means and the result is often the same. Psychic or energy vampires feed off of other living things to compensate for energies that their own spirit does not commonly generate or contain.

Mana or elemental energies on the otherhand are not suited for this purpose. They work, but the result is far less profound. These types of energies are better suited to the working of various magicks and spiritual practices for whatever intent the user has in mind. I hope this clarifies a bit for you. It's oversimplifying to a great extent and I apologize but it's not within the scope of a single post, or an entire forum really to fully disclose or discuss the advanced nature of energy workings such as this.

Suffice to say that psychic vampires are real. They do feed off of the life energies of others. Many are aware of their nature, and can become fairly addicted to the exchange and sometimes dangerous if it's taken far enough. The main point here, is that although energy exists in all things. There are different types of energy, suitable for different purposes. In this manner, elemental energy is not suitable to vampires of this nature which is why they must drain their energy from a living source, often ones who are completely unaware of the transfer that's taking place.

Now that is really interesting. You're getting to the point, why are vampires draining human energies. (I've tried it, but felt dizzy and extremely bad both mentally and physically). So... As far as I know a regular human energy system can absorb energies from the nature, surroundings, awareness and thought itself. What is so different about a human vampire's energy system, can they not be repaired to operate as human? If it is what they would want. I think this is possible and in the end very easy.........

Hmm... Interesting topic. I myself have found alternatives to energy draining from books and personal research. Below this rant are all the things I've tried that sate my energy cravings temporarily. I still require to feed at least once every 3-8 days, usually off of an entity that is a high energy source, but since I have a "meatbag" body, I tried using other things to supply my energy. Turns out such foods like these have varying degrees of prana in them. Anyhow, the list.

Chocolate
Caffeine Gum
Tea or Coffee Drinks
Energy Drinks
Sugary Foods like Candy
Raw or Slightly Cooked Meat (Especially rare steaks)
Fruit Juice
Milk
V8

I also hear that red wine can sate a vampire's energy cravings, but I'm not allowed to drink alcohol for legal reasons. Nor do I want to.
