I am trying to get a sense of an overall description of psionics, radionics and psychotronics, but it seems people are either describing specific devices or techniques, or recommending boooks. I don't understand what these three fields are about. I've seen the Uncle Chuckie story with the links to purchasing his books, but without making a purchase I just wondered what these things are about.

It seems like these fields involve making the unmanifest manifest through object maniuplation? i.e. "Uncle Chuckie's magic circle box" and the like.

My question is: isn't the power of the mind a good enough tool? Why add physical objects? I thought the point of magic was the ability of the magician to add his own intent to an idea, and manifest it through his own positive thinking.

Any info would be appreciated.

Well, I'm taking this from a scientific perspective mind you, but my understanding is that intent itself is the main thing which can create that manifestation/effect on the quantum level, much like influencing of RNGs, using both standard and retro-psychokinesis. Now the thing is, there are certain crystals out there, and possibly some other objects, which, like radio transmitters, can amp up the signal of what you are trying to send, but otherwise, it is my understanding that intent is the driving force behind it.
